Arte Marquetry
The natural product sisal, a sturdy fiber derived from the agave plant, is the basis of the Marqueterie collection. The naturally woven pieces of sisal are cut and laid by hand in various patterns. The artisan inlaying pushes forward striking geometric figures. Both the different directions of the weave and the colors create a lot of depth and texture in this 100% handmade wallcovering. Depending on the light and point of view, a subtle sheen emerges.
