With the Arte Oculaire wallpaper collection you get a very special wall covering in your home. The sisal used is woven by hand. Because the wallcovering is also based on a natural material like sisal, you get a very pure end product. Sisal is a very strong fiber, derived from the agave plant. Just like rattan and reed, the material is popping up more and more in our interiors. The cut elements are then inlaid and glued by hand in a pattern that creates a trompe-l'oeil effect. This process must be carried out with the utmost care, and is therefore only reserved for the true craftsman.
